Jordan River Youth Village

The Jordan River Village in Israel is a special place where seriously ill children can just be kids. Actor Paul Newman started it all in 1988 when he founded the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for kids suffering from life threatening diseases. Since then, the Association of HITW Camps has become a global fraternity of permanent recreational villages. The Jordan River Village, located on 61 acres of secluded, beautiful land high above the Sea of Galilee in Israel, is a proud member of this Association. Here it is all about the kids – giving them some of their childhood back, enhancing their sense of self-worth. Moshe Peterburg is a keen supporter of both entities, and also his wife, Aviva Peterburg, serves on the board of directors of the youth village.
